See the flyer below for more information about 2023-2024 suburban basketball tryouts, including tryout times for each grade. These are tryouts - not everyone is guaranteed to make a team. We have limited gym availability and resources. The league we play in is a competitive travel league and we want to field competitive teams.
If your son or daughter makes a suburban basketball team, this should be their highest priority for extracurricular activities this winter. Our teams practice twice a week and will play 20-25 games over the course of the season. The fee to play is $175 plus $50 if you need a uniform. Please see the "Season Info" tab for more information about suburban basketball.

Park & Rec and CYO also run leagues that allow the opportunity to play basketball in West Side. Park & Rec is great choice if your son or daughter is just beginning to play basketball, is looking for something less competitive, or if they do not make a suburban team. Registration for Park & Rec basketball is available until November 3 on their website: and is open until November 3will be posted soon on the Town of West Springfield website at this web address:
CYO offers the opportunity to play against other parishes. The St. Thomas CYO Program has sign-ups on October 3rd and 4th from 4:30pm - 6pm in the St. Thomas Gym Lobby. For more information about the CYO program, please call 413-519-6479.
